OCTAVIA
Built by 'Branson Boats' in 1991 and launched in 1992.
She is currently moored on the Lancaster Canal.
Octavia is very well suited and equipped for extended cruising.
She was in fact used as a liveaboard for 2 years.

HEATING
Wood/coal burning 'Morso Squirrel' stove & 'Aldi' gas central heating. Hot water is by calorifier (engine heated) or by the Aldi gas unit.

POWER
12v lighting & 240v mains power (7 sockets) via a 'Powermaster' 1800w pure sine inverter, which is supplied by an 'Elecsol' battery bank. Emergency generator power and shore power is via an external mains linked socket. She is also fitted with a 'Kestrel' battery management system and a galvanic isolator.

WATER
Supplied by electric pump from a 250 gall storage tank. The bathroom is equipped with a pump out toilet, a hand basin , full size corner bath and a shower.

SAFETY
Octavia is fully equipped with fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, gas detector and carbon monoxide detector. She also carries flares and life jackets for estuary use. She has a full four year 'Boat Safety Certificate'.

She has a fixed double bed with a large storage area beneath.

Extras include ... Colour tv with DVD/CD player. Freeview tv unit and VHS cassette player/recorder.

Octavia was taken out of the water in August 2006 for a full hull inspection and re blacking.


She is licenced until June 2008.
Any trial or inspection welcomed.
